Banks to credit interest benefits: Govt tells SC

The government told the Supreme Court on Thursday that banks would on their own reimburse the difference between simple and compound interest to all borrowers with loans of less than Rs 2 crore, including those who did not avail of the moratorium facility and paid up their instalments.
