Wind and showers help clear up post-Diwali pollution in the NCR area, average AQI at 228

Air quality in capital was 'very poor' in the morning. AQI in the afternoon was a shade better, in the poor category but the average level was 228, more than four times the healthy limit of 50. AQI is considered satisfactory up to 100, moderate up to 200, poor up to 300, very poor up to 400, and severe if it is higher.
