Mumbai's two representative observatories - Colaba in the city and Santacruz, a suburb, recorded minimum temperatures of 17°C and 15°C respectively, 3 degrees below their normal values. Hill stations Matheran (17°) and Mahabaleshwar (14.9°), popular weekend getaway spots close to the island city saw similar temperatures as well.
