High Court asks NHRC to form panel to investigate Bengal violence

A five-judge bench, headed by acting Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal, observed that the state government had been denying post-poll violence from the very beginning. However, petitions filed by a section of the affected parties and a report submitted by the state legal services secretary had given a different picture, it said.The case will be heard next on June 30.
