The government is in talks with Johnson & Johnson regarding their single-dose vaccine and as per the plan, this vaccine will also be produced by Hyderabad's Biological E, NITI Aayog member-health Dr V K Paul said. The vaccine has shown strong neutralising antibody activity against the Delta (B16172) variant, with immunity lasting at least eight months, according to results of pre-print phase-III trials.
