New Parliament to seat 888 in Lok Sabha chambers and 552 in Rajya Sabha

The new building, which is slated to hold the Winter Session of Parliament in 2022, as India completes 75 years of Independence, will be a five-star platinum rated modern building with all smart features. The building has been designed as per parameters of Seismic Zone -V, the highest zone as far as seismic activity is concerned. Delhi falls under Seismic Zone-IV.
