Sri Lanka permits Chinese spy ship to dock from August 16

Sri Lanka had earlier requested China to defer the visit, which was earlier being planned between August 11-17. The people cited earlier said a deal between Sri Lanka and Beijing, which might have influenced Sri Lanka to change its decision, cannot be ruled out. ET was the first to report that the vessel is expected to dock at Hambantota Port on August 16.
