NE funding on centre's radar as CMs flag project delays

ET has gathered that several chief ministers from the northeast have taken up the matter with both the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Prime Minister's Office, seeking fast tracking of project approvals and fund release. It is learnt that the issue is being reviewed and discussed in detail at the top level in the government over the last few weeks given the focus of the Centre in boosting development in the northeast.
