Flight operations at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport were halted for five hours on Saturday to accommodate the ceremonial 'Alpassi Arattu' procession of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Led by the head of the Travancore royal family, the procession, including idols and elephants, crossed the runway to reach Shankumugham beach for rituals.
