Arambai Tenggol, a radical Meitei community group, surrendered over 300 illegal arms to the Manipur government, responding to Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla's appeal. The weapons, including AK series rifles and mortars, were looted during ethnic riots with the Kuki-Zo community since May 2023. More arms are expected to be returned in the coming days.
