App cab launched in Kolkata exclusively for women

Kolkata's transport department, in collaboration with Snap-E Cabs, launched UMA, an exclusive app cab service for women. Driven by professionally trained women, these vehicles feature GPS tracking and SOS buttons, aiming to enhance safety and empower women travelers. Twenty cabs debuted on September 26, with more joining soon to address safety concerns.
