Porters unable to take horses to grazing patches accessible till last year: Ex-Councillor Durbok

The ex-councilor said over 1,000 porters from Durbuk subdivision in eastern Ladakh worked as porters for the Border Roads Organisation and over 100 work for the Army. The porters and their horses in border areas are engaged in patrolling and moving men and machinery. In areas where there are roads they are used only for patrolling.
