Fraudsters have targeted the Ayodhya temple trust for the second time in four months, using a pair of cloned cheques bearing forged signatures to siphon off Rs 6 lakh over a 10-day span before a third fake cheque hit a firewall at Lucknow’s SBI clearing house. In April, a fake online gateway had been created in the trust’s name to pilfer public donations to build the Ram temple.
