Bill Gates, billionaire philanthropist, is optimistic the Covid-19 pandemic could end in 2022 if countries cooperate and do “a brilliant job”. In a Skype interview with TOI, Gates said that if there are lots of good vaccines made in volume then the health system will be back fairly quickly. Gates also acknowledged India’s crucial role in manufacturing a possible vaccine.
