In a first, Jammu & Kashmir HC enables litigants to file cases through post offices/common service centres

Under the programme, a litigant who needs to file a case in a lower Court in the Union Territory has to contact a paralegal volunteer of his region. The volunteer, trained especially for the purpose, will collect the requisite documents from the litigant and prepare a petition.
