Tourists throng Pangong's 3 Idiots point; Chadar trek route becomes busy

After a year-long hiatus, around 30 tourists have visited the Pangong Tso in eastern Ladakh, where Indian and Chinese troops are locked in a bitter standoff since early April. The lake, which is at 13,862 feet above the sea level, was opened for tourists on January 10.
