Uttar Pradesh reported 35,156 new Covid-19 cases and 298 deaths on Thursday, owing to higher testing in villages after cases fell for four days. This has opened up a new challenge of containing the spread in poorly equipped small towns and villages, said state health minister Jai Pratap Singh.
