Civilians injured in police operations across Delhi constituted over 29% of the all-India figure of 226. In J&K, a hub of civilian protests in the past, 43 people were injured in police operations last year, just about one-fifth of the 201 hurt in 2019. The all-India count of police personnel killed on duty during 2020 was 24% higher than in 2019, even though the number of injured personnel fell by the same margin.
