Balurghat MP Sukanta Majumdar was on Monday appointed West Bengal BJP president, replacing Dilip Ghosh who has been elevated as national vice-president of the party. Ghosh’s tenure was to last till the end of next year and his premature exit comes in the wake of reports of internal differences within the state unit.
