Nearly two weeks after Covid-19 cases exploded in Kerala immediately after Onam festivities, the state showed more signs that the pandemic was gradually receding as daily numbers stayed lower than on the same day last week. Kerala logged 25,772 cases on Tuesday, accounting for more than two-thirds (67.5%) of the national count of 38,138, and 189 deaths — more than half of India’s toll (363).
