Navratri or Maha Navratri is the celebration of good over evil across India. It is a much-awaited Hindu festival that spans over nine days, hence the word Navratri. In a year, there are four seasonal Navaratris. However, many households just celebrate two, Sharada Navratri, that occurs in the month of Ashvin according to the Hindu calendar.
