Assam government to survey land in Char riverine areas: Himanta Biswa Sarma

Sarma said, “We will initiate a survey in Baghbar, Jonia to assess the land available there. While moving in the area I can see a lot of vacant land and people from the area move to different areas of Dhekiajuli, Borsola and Lumding. In these areas there are land grabbers who push these people out of the area and force them to take shelter in forest land.”
