Mahatma Gandhi was the greatest person to have lived in the past millennium, Union home minister Amit Shah said on Sunday, adding that the Centre’s schemes like Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and Vocal for Local are the new definitions of Swadeshi movement propagated by Gandhi. Shah unveiled a mural of the Mahatma at the Sabarmati riverfront on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day.
