Parties guard counting centres, seek webcast

In Uttar Pradesh, a day after about 20 electronic voting machines were intercepted by Samajwadi Party workers while they were being transported, party workers heeded to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav's call to "protect their votes", camping overnight outside counting centres to keep a vigil on the EVMs. BSP workers too kept guard. This will continue on Wednesday night too. They intercepted many vehicles of officials entering the premises of the counting centres to check for their identity.
