Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, keeper of the temple dedicated to Tirupati’s presiding deity, declared its net worth for the first time since its founding in 1933. The temple trust said it has 10.3 tonnes of gold deposits in nationalised banks worth more than Rs 5,300 crore at current bullion rates.
