Grant of default bail to include time spent in remand, says SC

The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, states that an accused can be given default bail if a charge sheet is not filed within time in the court. This is applicable after 90 days of custody in cases punishable with death, life imprisonment, and after 60 days of custody for any other offence.
