J&K parties meet EC, Demand early polls in Union Territories

Leaders of opposition parties across the spectrum said the EC has a constitutional obligation to conduct assembly elections in J&K and that delaying or not conducting the polls amounts to denial of democratic and fundamental rights and breach of the constitutional guarantees.
