Re-polling conducted in West Bengal in the presence of central forces and state police

Three political workers died. A Trinamool Congress worker from Murshidabad’s Raninagar and a CPI(M) activist, who were severely injured and admitted to hospital on the polling day, succumbed to injuries on Monday. In another incident, the body of a local BJP leader from Dhubulia was recovered in Nadia district. Ashto Mondal, was missing since July 4 and his body was recovered from the bushes adjacent to a pond on Monday morning.
