Modi promised to visit the defence personnel at the tunnel in his next term. He highlighted the 'Vibrant Village Programme' and the commencement of road projects and tourism-related projects in numerous villages. Modi also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various development projects in Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, and Assam.
