A Mumbai court rejected Mehul Choksi's plea against a notice seeking to declare him a Fugitive Economic Offender in the PNB scam case. Choksi's lawyers argued that the Enforcement Directorate's arguments were contradictory, while the ED maintained its stance. Choksi, accused alongside his nephew Nirav Modi, left India in January 2018 before the fraud came to light.
