The Uttarakhand government will set up a committee to look into the feasibility of rolling out a population control bill on the lines of other BJP-ruled states like Uttar Pradesh and Assam. The Pushkar Singh Dhami government is also looking at introducing a land bill to restrict outsiders from buying land in the Himalayan state.
