With concerns mounting about the possibility that Afghanistan could now be used as a terror launch pad, India said at the UN Security Council Thursday the rapidly deteriorating security situation in the country since the Taliban takeover would only embolden terror groups active in the region, including Pakistan-based LeT and JeM, which continued to enjoy “state hospitality”.
