Despite the marginal increase in daily cases, the seven-day average continues to fall. With Jharkhand’s number yet to come, Thursday saw 36,599 cases and 543 deaths. The seven-day average of cases however was 34,445 which has been declining since August 5. Also, cases have not breached 40k mark since the last seven days.
