Slow loan growth, high expenses pull BoI profit down

Net profit fell 15 per cent to Rs 720 crore in the quarter ended June 2021 from Rs 844 crore a year earlier as the bank's loan book shrank 0.18 per cent to Rs 4.14 lakh crore.
