Tripura police lodges case against Abhishek Banerjee, other Trinamool Congress leaders

The Khowai police station has booked these leaders under Section 186/34 of the Indian Penal Code. A senior police officer, who does not want to be named, told ET, “When you sit in a dharna in a police station and point fingers at police officers while talking, FIR and cases will definitely be lodged.”
