There are a number of ambitious infrastructure projects underway. Let me give a few examples. An in-principle approval has been given for 21 greenfield airports across the country. Projects worth ₹7 lakh crore, to be completed in the next three years, are said to be in the pipeline. Almost 8,400 greenfield expressways are being built as part of the Bharatmala project.
