Grey areas left during the drafting of a bill increases the scope for judicial interpretations, while a simple and clear legislation reduces such possibilities, home minister Amit Shah has said. Inaugurating a training programme on legislative drafting in New Delhi on Monday, Shah said there was no need for any court to interpret a law if the drafting is simple and clear.
