India is set to inaugurate the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit in Bharat Mandapam on December 12. The initiative, which has 29 member countries, aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice on AI by supporting research and applied activities. India is the lead chair of GPAI in 2024. The summit will feature sessions on AI and global health, education, data governance, and machine learning.
