US manufactured goods orders remained unchanged in December, with primary metals orders up and transportation equipment orders down. Durable goods orders for November were revised slightly higher. The figure for December was below expectations. Primary metals orders rose 1.4 percent, while transportation and defense aircraft orders declined.
