Moitra, who campaigned in Asannagar and Bhimpur area of her Krishnanagar Constituency, has said earlier that ED, CBI and NIA have become branch organizations of BJP just like Trinamool Congress has Youth, Women wings. Earlier, the ED had filed a case under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) against Moitra. ED had also issued third summons to the expelled MP for questioning in connection with a FEMA violation case, which she skipped, citing election campaign.
