The AIMIM has proposed an alliance with the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. If there is no response by September 9, AIMIM will contest independently. AIMIM leader Imtiaz Jaleel emphasized the importance of preventing a BJP-led government in the state.
