The Government of India has appointed Arun Goel as the next Ambassador to Croatia. Goel, a retired IAS officer, previously served as India's Election Commissioner and held various key positions in the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Ministry of Culture. Diplomatic relations between India and Croatia were established in 1992.
