The Election Commission agreed to prominently display the NCP-SP's 'man blowing turha' symbol on EVM ballot units but rejected the request to freeze the similar trumpet symbol. The Commission stated that both symbols are distinct and dismissed concerns of voter confusion leading to election loss.
