A 40-year-old woman was chased and shot at thrice by a suspended lawyer in the crowded Saket court complex on Friday morning, exposing serious lacunae in the safety apparatus at the district courts. The incident gave the lie to repeated assurances by the authorities of beefing up security in courts following many such incidents in the past.
