Government plans skill hubs at schools, colleges sans affiliation

According to the official, educational institutions are present in every nook and corner of the country, thus making skilling accessible to the youth. "By utilising the existing infrastructure in these institutions, skilling can be delivered in remote corners, where private training providers may not find it feasible," the official said. Further, these institutions are already recognised or affiliated to some regulatory authorities after undergoing a certain level of scrutiny as per extant rules and fresh affiliation will lead to duplication of efforts.
