Seiji Ozawa, the Japanese conductor, who entertained audiences with his performances for three decades piloting the Boston Symphony Orchestra has passed away at the age of 88 years. Ozawa had a massive influence over the BSO at the time of his tenure. 74 out of the 104 musicians have been appointed by him and his celebrity status has enticed popular performers which include Itzhak Perlman and Yo-Yo Ma.
