Security forces in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district killed 18 Maoists, including 11 women, in a twin offensive. Arms and ammunition were recovered, and two security personnel sustained minor injuries. The operation is part of an ongoing effort to eradicate Naxalism by March 2026, with over 100 extremists killed so far this year.
