Kuki-Zo organisations in Manipur are planning a referendum to decide on creating a Union Territory for Kuki-Zo villages. The indefinite shutdown called by the Kuki-Zo Council has disrupted life in Manipur for the fifth consecutive day, protesting against bus routes and recent police actions.
