While Covid-19 cases in India dipped sharply in November to the lowest since the pandemic’s first month (March 2020), there was a sudden surge in testing in the second half of the month. The seven-day average of the daily testing figures as reported in the health ministry website showed 1.3 lakh tests on November 14.
